MVLC Kids' Web - A list of child-friendly web sites.  Arranged into the following categories: Art & Music, Online Reference, Sports & Games, Language Arts, Math & Science, Social Studies, and TV & Movies.  There are also links for web pages of interest to both parents and teachers.

Kids Click - An index of web searches, created by librarians, for children.  Includes a broad range of categories with sub-categories.  This is a good site for those looking for homework help.

Ask for Kids - The folks at Ask Jeeves have put together this site for children looking for homework help.  You can click on one of the themed books for help in that subject area, or simply type a question into the search box.                    

Homework Help - The librarians at the Multnomah County Library have put together this  Homework Help site where you can search by 38 different categories.  They also provide a Live Homework Help section, where children can chat with an online tutor.  This service is available daily from 2:00pm to 10:00pm.    

The ABC's of Web Site Evaluation- Kathy Schrock has put together this online tutorial aimed at helping students evaluate web sites for accuracy.
