Inter-Library Loan (ILL) Changes Coming Soon - Due to statewide budget cuts, the Nevins Library will be introducing a new Mediated ILL Policy as of July 1, 2010.
Beginning July 1, 2010, Methuen residents will be allowed 5 free mediated ILL requests (those types of requests processed through the Reference Department). All non-resident patrons will be charged a $5.00 flat fee for those requests. Methuen residents who have exceeded the 5 free requests will be charged the same $5.00 fee.
This policy does not affect network transfers (those requests made within the MVLC network) or the Virtual Catalog requests (those from other libraries within Massachusetts using the delivery system). Please contact the Reference Department at 978-686-4080, extensxion 12 for any questions you may have.
