Community Autism Awareness and Informational Workshops

Is everyone ready for the annual Autism Awareness and Informational Workshops here at the Nevins Library? Presented by Methuen Public School’s own Bari Glazer (the District’s Autism Specialist).

I know we’re ready.

This year Bari has a wide range of topics.

Wednesday, March 27, 2019 @ 6 PM: Sensory Strategies for All Learners: Come learn how we can help our students (and ourselves) be ready to learn and be active participants!

Wednesday, April 3, 2019 @ 6 PM: Behavior Strategies: Learn why behavior occurs and some strategies to help decrease challenging behaviors

Wednesday, April 10, 2019 @ 6 PM: Differentiated Instruction: Learn about tools to teach the same content to a variety of learners

These workshops are all free and certificates of attendance will be given at the end of each.

🚗🚗Also, PLEASE, carpool with your friends and colleagues — parking is limited.🚗🚗

Note that like last year, we have a specific sign-up process:

When registering for this workshop please use your Name, Phone Number, Email, and the agency/school you represent (if applicable). Please sign up for each workshop you plan to attend separately (each sign-up form is linked below).

The email you provide will only be used to send out the materials that will be part of that week’s workshop and to inform you if there are any similar workshops happening here in 2020.
