Literacy Tutor Orientations

Want to become a Tutor with Literacy Volunteers of Methuen?

We need your help to provide free, private, flexible, and individualized instruction to adults in the community who want to learn to speak and read English, or are struggling with basic reading and language comprehension.

You’ll make a great tutor if you have some extra time to give back, are over eighteen years old, or like to connect with others and learn about new cultures.

Sign up for an Info Session (via our Google Form), or stop by to learn more about what it takes to become a volunteer tutor:

Thursday, August 11 at 6pm

These sessions will be in person here at the Nevins Library, but, if you would prefer to do the orientation via Zoom, or you have any other questions, please feel free to contact Grace at 978-686-4080 x32 or

Funding provided by Literacy Volunteers of Massachusetts and the City of Methuen
