Upcoming Friends Event:

Join us at Bertucci’s Restaurant of Salem, 275 Rockingham Park Blvd, Salem, NH on Wednesday, April 25th all day for a “Dining for Dollars Fundraiser.” Bertucci’s will donate up to 25% of all pre-taxed food and beverage purchases to the Friends of the Nevins Library.  Dine in or carry-out, whatever fits your schedule.

Please make sure to present the required coupon to your server at the time of payment.

The Friends of the Nevins Library is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization created to support the library programs and activities at the Nevins Memorial Library. While many activities and collections are funded through the City and State budgets, there are other programs that are not in the Library’s regular budget that the Friends are able to provide through membership and fundraising. These include but are not limited to: popular museum passes; summer reading programs for all ages; a subscription to the free book review magazine Book Page; and so much more.

The Friends do many activities throughout the year including book sale, baseball outings, book fairs at Barnes & Noble, and other fundraising events. There are many opportunities to become involved in the group and to enjoy the rewards of giving to your community.

As a special benefit of becoming a Friend, the Library will forgive your fines four (4) times during the membership year. Present your membership card to take advantage of this privilege (It’s good for fines only; lost or damaged books or materials must be paid for).
