(4th to 6th Grade)
Do you love to read books and like
to talk about them? Each month we meet to discuss the same story, or sometimes share a favorite book we have recently read. Please complete reading the book for our monthly meeting. Snacks and a drink are provided at each meeting. If you need a copy of the book to read, call the Children’s Department at 978-686-4080 ext. 26. Please register online. New members are welcome!
(2nd to 3rd Grade)
Bookworms is a new offering for independent readers in 2nd & 3rd grade. Popular series and other fun stories will be featured in this monthly afternoon program. Children will listen to some of the story, have a brief discussion, and then play a game and make a craft. Everyone is encouraged to check out a copy of the book to complete at home.
(4th to 6th Grade)
This monthly program combines reading and art to help children understand how art is a reflection of the world around us. During each event we will highlight an artist and their style, and review their portfolio of work. Then we will create our own original artwork using that artist’s style.
Check out our selection of art books to learn more! New members are always welcome—please register online.
