The Friends of the Nevins Library is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization created to support the library programs and activities at the Nevins Memorial Library. There are three ways that you can currently support the Friends of the Nevins Memorial Library.
Make a One Time Donation
When we had the flood in July 2019, one of the events that had to be postponed because of space limitations was the Friends of Nevins Memorial Library Fall Book Sale. An event that usually brings in a lot in donations.
By making a one time donation to the Friends, you can choose to help them help the library buy books, fund programs like Summer Reading, Live Long and Learn and more, or chose to let the Friends put the money where it is most needed.
Become a Friend
The Friends do many activities throughout the year including book sale, baseball outings, book fairs at Barnes & Noble, and other fundraising events. There are many opportunities to become involved in the group and to enjoy the rewards of giving to your community.
As a special benefit of becoming a Friend, the Library will forgive your fines four (4) times during the membership year. Present your membership card to take advantage of this privilege (It’s good for fines only; lost or damaged books or materials must be paid for).
Order through Amazon using AmazonSmile
If you’re already putting in an order to Amazon, if you use smile.amazon.com instead and choose Friends of the Nevins Memorial Library as your charity. The Friends of the Nevins Library will get a percentage of the sale.
