Friends of the Nevins Memorial Library

WHO WE ARE
The Friends of the Nevins Memorial Library is a non-profit organization created to support library programs and activities. While operating expenses for the Library are funded with municipal and state aid funds, there are many programs that are not in the Library's regular budget that the Friends are able to provide through memberships and fundraising. These include, but are not limited to: the popular museum passes; the summer reading programs for children, teens, and adults; the subscription to the free book review magazine Book Page; holiday decorations for the library; equipment for the Library; and maintenance of the fish tank at the entrance of the Children's Department. |
MEMBERSHIP
As a Friend, your membership entitles you to a 10% discount on Friends merchandise, such as Nevins Library tot bags, caps, mugs, postcards and other collectibles.
Also, as a Friend, the Library will forgive your fines four (4) times during the membership year. Present your membership card to take advantage of this privilege. This is good for fines only, lost or damaged books or materials must still be paid for.
