Library Page, Youth Services

The Nevins Library located in Methuen, MA serves approximately 52,000 residents as well as neighboring communities. The Library is seeking an energetic, flexible, and organized individual who enjoys working in an active space.

Library Pages are responsible for sorting, and shelving recently returned library materials in alphabetical and numerical order. As well as maintaining the appearance of the library shelves. A Library Page may also be asked to assist with preparation for library programs and to help in other library departments.

This part-time position will require flexibility in working hours, and include day and evening shifts (up to 9pm), as well as Saturdays (up to 5pm).

Qualifications:
• Able to work with a diverse population, while respecting people of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds.
• Committed to a high level of accuracy, organization and the ability to prioritize tasks in an active space.
• Strong teamwork, flexibility in scheduling, and able to work independently.

Hours: 12 hours per week

Minimum Education: none

Salary: $15.00 per hour
